Faasos partners with Citrus Pay

The fast food chain is offering introductory wallet credits to new users.

Faasos, the Indian fast food chain, has tied with Citrus Pay, an online payment gateway, to allow payments on their mobile app. This tie up is a part of Faasos' drive to promote the use of its app for ordering, for which it has also launched OOH and digital campaign.

Citrus Pay has also initiated an introductory offer, by providing Rs 100 in its e-wallet to first-time app users, to be exclusively used for purchases from Faasos. According to the company, the offer has created a buzz among users.

Talking about the tie-up Jaydeep Barman, co-founder & CEO, Faasos, says, "Our business proposition is to order in seconds on the Faasos App and Citrus has helped us make the payment experience as seamless as the app! Almost 80 per cent of mobile app users prefer using a wallet and after integrating with Citrus the number of transactions on the app has increased several fold."

Adds Jitendra Gupta, founder, Citrus Payment Solutions, "We're focused on making cashless payments a household practice. Faasos, a popular brand among the youth, will also help us connect with the kind of users we cater to the best."

Citrus, a mobile payment solutions provider, has been functional since 2011. It provides e-wallets to consumers, allowing users to make easy online payments for various app-based transactions. CitrusCash has over one million active prepaid accounts. Processing transactions at a rate of $1.5 billion each year, Citrus reaches more than 15 million consumers across merchants that include Indigo, GoAir, Airtel, PVR, Fun Cinemas, Delhi Metro, NIFT, Healthkart, Lenskart, Watchkart, Quickheal, Sundirect, Tata AIG, Pepperfry, Kidzania and Zivame.
